STUDY PROGRAMMES OPEN FOR APPLICATION:

Bachelor (undergraduate) academic studies:

- Mechanical Engineering (180 ECTS)
- Information Technologies in Mechanical Engineering (180 ECTS)

NUMBER OF AVAILABLE PLACES:

Within the study programme Information Technologies in Mechanical Engineering, 4 self-financing places remain available.

PREVIOUS EDUCATION REQUIRED:

ENROLMENT in the first year of undergraduate academic studies at the University (Faculty), is open to candidates who have completed four-year secondary education.

PRE-REGISTRATION AND REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:

Online pre-registration is MANDATORY FOR ALL CANDIDATES and will be conducted between September 29 and October 1, 2025, by accessing the following address PRE-REGISTRATION link.

Candidates who are unable to complete the online pre-registration on their own may do so at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering on October 1,2025, from 12:30 to 14:30.

If, during the registration process at the institution, it is found that the original documents do not match those submitted during the online registration (forgeries), such candidates will not be allowed to enrol in the faculties of the University of Belgrade, and a criminal complaint will be filed with the competent prosecutor's office.

Formal REGISTRATION will take place on October 1, 2025, from 12:30 to 14:30 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade, 16 Kraljice Marije Street, at the Student Affairs Office counters.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION:

Upon applying to the Call, candidates must submit the following (photocopies will not be returned):

  1. A printed, filled-out and personally signed application form to the Call (available in the Information Booklet 2025),
  2. A photocopy of the birth certificate (only for foreign nationals and for all candidates born outside the Republic of Serbia),
  3. ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS for inspection (items 4 and 5 below),
  4. Photocopies of the certificates of completion for all four years of secondary school (not officially certified, legible),
  5. A photocopy of the secondary school Diploma Certificate or final/ matriculation examination certificate (not officially certified, legible)
  6. A filled out statement on the voluntary submission of personal data to an authorized person (the form of the statement is included in the Information Booklet 2025)
  7. The proof of payment of the fee for taking the entrance exam on the basis of the “Pricelist of studies and services at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering”.
  8. Diploma Certificates from republic and international competitions for candidates who, as third or four-year secondary school students, won one of the first three prizes at a republic or international competition from the Ministry of Education’s official competition calendar in MATHEMATICS (a photocopy and the original for inspection).
  9. Candidates who completed secondary school before the 2024/2025 academic year, when registering, must submit a signed statement stating that they have not been enrolled as state-funded students at the first level of studies (form available in the Information Booklet 2025) and a statement stating that they are enrolling in the first level of studies and the higher education institution in question for the first time (form available in the Information Booklet 2025).
  10. The decision on the recognition of international secondary school documents or a certificate that the recognition process has been initiated (for the candidates who obtained international secondary school documents or completed the International Baccalaureate program).

Candidates applying through programmes of affirmative enrolment measures must also submit additional documentation required by the Call.

For taking the entrance examination and covering related administrative costs, candidates must pay a fee of 4,000 RSD per study programme applied for. Payment details are the following: account number 840-32848845-64, the purpose of payment is the entrance examination fee for the specified study programme (state the programme) and payment code 141.

During the submission of the documents and application to the Call FOR THE APPROPRIATE STUDY PROGRAMME, the candidate will be issued a CERTIFIED CONFIRMATION OF APPLICATION TO THE CALL FOR ENROLMENT TO THAT PARTICULAR STUDY PROGRAMME and the number of application will be entered in it. This CONFIRMATION should be kept by the candidate as proof that he/she submitted the documents and the candidate must bring it with him/her to the entrance examination OF THAT PARTICULAR STUDY PROGRAMME!

The data on the registered candidates BY STUDY PROGRAMMES will be announced no later than 15:00 on October 1, 2025, on the bulletin board at the entrance to the faculty and on the Faculty website. Written complaints to the accuracy of the published data should be lodged no later than 12:00 on October 2, 2025, at the Student Affairs Office of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade. The sitting schedule and the final list of candidates by halls FOR EVERY STUDYPROGRAMME will be announced on October 2, 2025, by 16:00.

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION:

The entrance exam in MATHEMATICS for the study programme Bachelor academic studies – Information Technologies in Mechanical Engineering will be held at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade on Friday, October 2, 2025, starting at 10:00.

All candidates are required to be IN FRONT of the appropriate hall (in accordance with the announced seating arrangements) no later than 09:45 on the same day. Late arrival will not be tolerated.
The correct solutions to the mathematics entrance examination will be published (on the notice board at the entrance of the Faculty building and on the Faculty’s website) the same day at 15:00.

The candidates who, in the third or fourth year of secondary school, won one of the first three prizes in MATHEMATICS at a republic or international competition listed in the official competition calendar of the Ministry of Education, do not take the entrance exam and obtain the maximum number of points at the entrance exam (60) on this account.

TUITION FEES

For citizens of the Republic of Serbia:

  1. Mechanical Engineering study programme: 108,000.00 RSD
  2. Information Technologies in Mechanical Engineering study programme: 180,000.00 RSD

For foreign nationals:

  1. Mechanical Engineering study programme: 1800.00 EUR
  2. Information Technologies in Mechanical Engineering study programme: 1,800.00 EUR

ENROLMENT WITHOUT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION:

The following persons may enrol in the first year of Bachelor academic studies without taking the entrance examination:

  1. A person who acquired a high education degree at the academic studies of the first level, i.e. the person who acquired a university degree according to the regulations of the law that were valid until the entry into force of the Law on Higher Education („Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia“, No. 76/05, 100/07 – authentic interpretation, 97/08, 44/10, 93/12,89/13, 99/14, 45/15 – authentic interpretation, 68/15 and 87/16);
  2. The student of another higher education institution who achieved at least 60 ECTS credits at a study programme of academic studies at another higher education institution under the conditions prescribed by the faculty, i.e. the University; “Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia”, No.76/05, 100/07 – authentic interpretation, 97/08, 44/10, 93/12, 89/13, 99/14, 45/15 – authentic interpretation, 68/15 и 87/16). a student from another university, or another independent higher education institution, cannot enrol in the University, i.e. in any of its higher education units, if they have 60 or fewer ECTS credits remaining to complete their study programme at the institution where they are currently enrolled.
  3. The student of the faculty within the University who is enrolled in one study programme can be enrolled in the second study programme within the same faculty under the conditions determined by the study programme, i.e. in the manner of and according to the procedure determined by the general acts of the faculty;
  4. The student of the faculty whose status of the student has been terminated in accordance with Article 101, paragraph 7, points 2 and 3 of the Statute of the University (in case of dropping out or failure to enrol in the academic year), and who has earned at least 60 ECTS credits in the study programme.

The person who gets enrolled without an entrance exam can only be enrolled as a self-financing student and is not included into the approved number of students for a particular study programme.

The applicant submits:

  1. A written request for enrolment no later than the expiration of the second Call for enrolment;
  2. A request for the recognition of exams, the certificate of passed exams, the description (content) of passed exams certified by the faculty, the certificate of studying (for transfer from other higher education institutions), the certificate of graduation or diploma (for the enrolment of individuals who have acquired higher education), the decision on termination of the status of the student (for enrolment in cases of dropping out from studies and failure to enrol in the academic year), and the proof of payment of procedure costs (if applicable).

If the higher education document the candidate uses to apply for enrolment without the entrance exam was acquired abroad (except if obtained in the Republic of Srpska), it is mandatory to conduct the recognition procedure in accordance with the Law and the general act of the University. When applying, candidates are obliged to submit to the faculty a confirmation of the initiated recognition procedure, along with other documentation.

Persons submitting a foreign higher education document proving completion of part of a study programme at a foreign higher education institution, for the purpose of applying to Bachelor or integrated academic study programmes, in accordance with Article 96 of the Statute of the University of Belgrade “Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia”, No. 201/2018, 207/2019, 213/2020, 214/2020, 217/2020, 230/2021, 232/2022, 233/2022, 236/2022, 241/2022, 243/2022, 244/2023, 245/2023, 251/23, 258/24, 260/25 и 262/25), must initiate the recognition procedure no later than July 15, 2025, in order to determine their right to enrol on that basis.

When applying, candidates must submit a Diploma Certificate and Diploma supplement, or a graduation certificate with a transcript of records issued by an accredited higher education institution and accredited study programme.

Persons who have the right to enrol without taking the entrance exam can exercise this right if the faculty has spatial and other conditions, which is decided by the Dean.

The deadline for completion of enrolment for candidates enrolling without an entrance examination is November 14, 2025.
