Истраживачка област

Истраживачка област обухвата карактеризацију чврстих горива, термо-хемијске процесе конверзије, као што су пиролиза, гасификација, сагоревање и торефакција, као и процеса физичке и хемијске активације материјала на биолошком нивоу за добијање производа са посебном вредношћу, за њихову употребу у различитим секторима. Такође, научно-истраживачко подручје рада обухвата примену различитих експерименталних техника за физичко-хемијску карактеризацију чврстих, течних и гасовитих производа, насталих термичком конверзијом фосилних горива и био-горива, као што су симултана термална анализа (TG+DTG+DTA+DSC) и масена спектрометрија. Поред тога развој сопствених (MATLAB/Python) и коришћења комерцијалних софтвера за интерпретацију и објашњења реакција разградње лигноцелулозних материјала, проистеклих из кинетике материје у чврстом стању и термодинамичке анализе. Посебан нагласак на истраживања које укључују, припрему и најбољу интерпретацију процесних параметара процењених на основу фундаменталних лабораторијских експеримената и њиховог прилагођавања и примене за математичко моделирање процеса, као за примену на индустријском нивоу. Додатно, топлотна разградња полимера, полимерних композита, материјала који се примењују у биотехнологији, као и за развој нових угљеничних материјала за добијање синтетичких горива и катализатора.
