The aim of the course is to introduce students with specific problems in the maintenance of rolling stock and facilitate the acquisition of knowledge necessary to make the work in this field. Upon completion of the course it is expected that the student will be able to identify and analyze specific problems in the field of maintenance and will be able to serve the mathematical formulas and models in finding appropriate solutions.
After successfully finishing the course students would be able to: - define and analyze specific problems in the maintenance of rail vehicles; - define and use proper mathematical formulas and numerical models to get appropriate solutions, - implementation of advanced methods for the maintenance of railway vehicles; - implementation of appropriate regulations and standards.
Systems approach to the maintenance of rail vehicles. Maintenance and life cycle. Maintenance process. Maintenance systems. Systems maintenance of rail vehicles(maintenance Serbian Railway, applied systems of maintenance of railway vehicles in the world). Integrated logistics and technical security of rail vehicles.
